Opening event: Shifting Shores Bribie’s beautiful beaches

Bribie Island and Sandstone Point
September 14th at 12:00am
Free Entry

Bribie Island is home to beautiful beaches bursting with life. From turtles hatching to peculiar creatures hidden under the sand, the beaches are places where we spend our summer days and create lasting memories.

To celebrate the opening of the Shifting Shores: Bribie’s beautiful beaches exhibition, Sherry Bruce from Bribie Island Environmental Protection Association (BIEPA) will be presenting about the community of life on Bribie Island beaches. The presentation will investigate the vibrant ecosystem of Bribie Island's beaches, where creatures find refuge, food, and hatch new life. The creatures that call our beaches home have lived through shifting sandscapes and changing human behaviour over the years.

The commitment of BIEPA volunteers seeks ways to protect and preserve the coastal life of Bribie Island. This presentation will empower your understanding to ensure our beaches thrive for years to come.
